A. FHBO.com Furnished Housing by Owner is the premier Web site for the furnished housing marketplace. For housing seekers, it's free to search our listings. For property owners, you can list your property for just $0.

Q. How does FHBO.com work?
A. Simple. If you're a renter, merely visit our “Search” page. Enter your destination in the “Search” box and the dates you'll need accommodations in the “From” and “To” boxes. If we have listings that meet that criteria, it will appear in the results. With each result, you can view property details, photos, amenities, maps, rates, reviews and owner contact information. There is a “contact the owner” tab on the “property details” page which will provide the name, telephone number and email contact for individual owners and property managers.

Q. How do I pay for a rental property?
A. Payment for a rental property will be between the renter and the property owner or property manager. Many owners accept credit cards. Owners will state payment procedures in the property detail section.

Q. Hotels versus furnished housing? Is it really that big of a difference?
A. Depends on your personal preferences. From a cost perspective, furnished housing can be far more affordable than a hotel with more space and provide you with a sense of a home for an extended stay. Furnished housing with kitchen amenities can also reduce your food bill by enabling you to prepare your own meals rather than eat out.

We encourage renters to contact the owner or property manager directly by phone with any specific questions. FHBO.com also urges our renters to read all reviews on a location prior to phoning the owner. If there are reviews that are less than favorable, specifically that the accommodations did not live up to billing, FHBO.com does follow up with the owner. FHBO.com will pull a listing if the owner is falsely presenting their property or for consistently negative reviews.

Photos should be in .jpg format, 72 DPI resolution and be at least 450 px wide by 320 pixels high. Additionally, landscape mode is the prefered orientation.
Q. How will I know how many people have viewed my listings?
A. FHBO.com can provide you a report of visitors upon request.

Q. Does listing my property or properties prohibit me from advertising on other sites?
